Spektrum DX6

Introducing the revolutionary 2.4GHz spread spectrum DX6.
Now sport park flyer, foamie and micro-heli fans can fly with the
no-pins, no-crystals, no-glitches, no-interference freedom and security
of 2.4GHz Spektrum DSM technology.
Sounds like a dream, doesn't it? It's no dream. It's the way
you'll fly with Spektrum's 2.4GHz DX6 radio.
You'll say goodbye to channel concerns at RC sites. Glitching and range
impairment from motor, servo, ESC and mechanical RF "noise" will be a
thing of the past. Proven DSM™ technology plus. Spektrum
2.4GHz surface radio equipment has already established an impressive
record in the world of RC car racing.
Because of the 3-dimensional nature of flight, however, planes and helis
present a challenging, ever-changing "target" for the maintenance of a
reliable 2.4GHz RF link.
So Spektrum solved this problem with a solution so innovative it's being
patented. It's called the DuaLink™ system (patent-pending), and it
employs two of the 2.4GHz band's 80 channels in a unique protocol that
delivers a redundant, ultra-reliable RF link regardless of your model's
orientation to your transmitter.
Your DX6 selects the channels for you. When you fire it up,
your DX6 automatically searches for, selects and locks onto two clear
channels. That's all there is to it. And because international
regulations for the band are very strict, your radio will neither
sustain interference from — nor cause interference to — any other 2.4GHz
device worldwide. And that applies, of course, to its simultaneous
operation in close proximity to other 2.4GHz RC radios as well.
Model-generated RF noise occurs far below 2.4GHz frequencies, so it
can’t interfere with DSM 2.4GHz reception.
Your DX6 will be welcome at established RC fields too.
DX6 frequencies are so much higher than those of conventional RC
channels — check the graph — that your radio won't even recognize the
existence of 27, 50 and 72MHz RC signals. And conversely, conventional
RC receivers will remain completely unaffected by your DX6's
transmissions.
In short, 2.4GHz DSM RC is a win-win deal for everyone. The tiny
receiver with big-time performance. At only 7 grams, the DX6's
AR6000 receiver is specifically designed for lightweight, electric
powered planes and helis. Better yet, it'll deliver reliable range
exceeding that of any other receiver sold specifically for park flyers.
To top it off, the DX6 is a great value. For starters, its
quality is tops. The DX6 transmitter's sticks are precise and
silky-smooth. Plus its ergonomics are as good as they get. Besides that,
the DX6 boasts 3 programmable mixes, rates and expo for aileron and
elevator, it's loaded with features for helis — including a flight mode
switch and CCPM capability — and it gives you memory for 10 models plus
fail-safe.
When you consider all the advantages, how can you not head straight for
your Spektrum dealer right now? He's got 'em, and you're going to love
joining the 2.4GHz revolution.
